Client: Dabney Lancaster Community College

Year Completed: 2001
The project called for computer lab, technology training labs, classrooms, media center, lecture/meeting rooms and administrative space. The addition was to be located adjacent to the current student activities center. Formally the plan was arranged by extending the existing circulation pattern through the addition. The massing of the addition follows the general massing of the existing structure but is more articulated, reflecting the deployment of spaces within. A second entrance façade faces the parking lot, reinforcing the building’s “Janus-like” intentions.
