Coyner Springs Water Treatment Plant

The project brief called for the construction of a treatment plant for one of the City of Waynesboro’s water sources located in Coyner Springs Park. The sources, artesian springs, are located in a scenic area within a largely rural landscape comprising one of the City’s largest parks. Both the Department of Public Works and the Department of Parks and Recreation were very sensitive to the insertion of an essentially industrial use into the park landscape.
